Democracy is defined by the power vested in the people and a set of shared human values, rights and privileges. However, the enterprise of preserving such rights and encoding such values in technology is far from a linear process.
In this webinar, an interdisciplinary expert group in the field take a step back to reflect on how fundamental concepts that operate in any democratic society, such as transparency, governance and accountability, can be used to empower people in the times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
