As part of our celebration of World Engineering Day on March 4th 2022, we approached futurist Anne Lise Kjær from Kjaer Global ltd. and asked them to develop four scenarios describing the role of engineers in 2030+. The scenarios will be used as the inspiration for our live online debate.
The scenarios are exaggerated and the future reality will most likely be a mixture of all of them, but we have created them to enable our expert panel to debate the engineers’ role in achieving the Global Goals and the profession’s role in future societies. The scenarios are based on research and insights developed by Kjaer Global and ANE in partnership.
At the live event the scenarios will be presented in a pre-recording with Anne Lise Kjær and then our live expert panel with debate the key questions posed by this look at the possible futures for engineering. The event is live streamed and free to attend.
